English journalist Simon Crompton is best known in the world of menswear as the creator of the wildly successful Permanent Style blog. Much of the reason for the blog’s success is due to the fact that Crompton started from the very position that his countless readers are in. As a man who enjoyed the finer things, but was constantly finding himself assailed by marketing and PR, Crompton decided to sort the wheat from the chaff, and tell everyone about it along the way.
