This is the only dubbin made entirely from vegetable oil. Unlike the Medaille d’Or Dubbin, which is made from animal and vegetable oils, this will not permanently darken leather. It is a rich, waxy product that is high in fat and imparts moisture to leather and has incredible waterproofing qualities. It is best used judiciously and should not be used in conjunction with Saphir Pate de Luxe wax polish, as the waxy finish of the dubbin makes the Pate de Luxe difficult to apply.
