Crockett & Jones
Crockett & Jones was founded in 1879 in Northampton where, to this day, they specialise in the manufacture of very high quality Goodyear-welted footwear in the spirit and standards of the 19th century, when men only wore rubber soles to play croquet.
Every pair of shoes requires a highly skilled workforce to carry out more than 200 separate operations during an 8-12 week period.
During the Second World War, Crockett & Jones manufactured over 1 million pairs for the armed forces. Enjoying a loyal following in Australia during the first half of the 20th century, this declined when Britain entered the European Economic Community. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership and committed to maintaining the highest standards of traditional craftsmanship, we are proud to represent Crockett & Jones in the Australian market.
Crockett & Jones shoes can last 10 times as long as shoes that cost half their price. If in life you pay for what you get, what’s the deal with that? Family owned. Made in Northampton, England.
