The Chiltern is a plain fronted derby chukka boot. The chukka style is named for its resemblance to traditional polo boots (each period of play in polo is called a ‘chukker’). A generous, round-toed boot, it goes well with casual trousers. The Chiltern has a hard-wearing Dainite sole, perfect for walking all day. Crafted on Crockett & Jones’ classic 224 last, it is easily one of their most popular ankle boots. The open lacing of the boot also makes the Chiltern a handy option for those with a high instep.
